Watching this litter of puppies be reunited four years later will make your day.
Back in 2012, a New York City couple adopted a yellow puppy named Samo from the Animal Haven Shelter in Soho. Four years after the adoption, Samo was reunited with her litter mates during a touching party. The eight puppies in the litter were all named for family members on the show "The Addams Family." Originally called Pubert, Samo's name was changed after adoption.
Samo had a good life with her loving owners. She went on lots of adventures, from playing in the snow to swimming, riding in the car and even playing on swing sets. She made a lot of friends, too, from dogs to humans. But she hadn't seen her siblings since her adoption at just eight weeks old.
In 2016, her humans decided to change that. They managed to contact three of the other owners, and four years after they were separated, half of Samo's original pack met at Happy Paws in New York City for a very special reunion.

The owners shared stories about their dogs, including likes and dislikes, health history and the foods they enjoy. They discovered that the pups share many similarities (they've all eaten something they shouldn't have at some point!) and a few differences. While a couple of the dogs love swimming, some hate it.
It was a touching event for everyone involved, but particularly for the dogs who cavorted around the room like old friends. Or better yet, like family.
