Live Buck Deer Reportedly Set on Fire in Indiana

Authorities in Indiana are looking into a horrific incident where a live deer was set on fire.

A passerby called the police and reported a wounded deer on the road. When authorities arrived, they found a buck deer suffering.

According to WANE News, police believed the deer was struck by a car. Then shortly after, while the animal was alive, it was set on fire with an accelerant. The police quickly put the deer out of its misery.

This is such a disgusting act, you have to wonder what was going through the mind of the person who did this. No live animal deserves to be set on fire.

The police identified parts at the scene and determined that it is a GM model, possibly a 1992-2002 Camaro, Trans-Am, or Firebird.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Indiana DNR Turn In Poachers line at 1-800-TIP-INDR or the Fulton County Sheriff's Department Crime Stoppers at 260-223-7867.

I hope that someone comes forward with information and a judge throws the book at this individual.
