Watch as renowned elk caller Corey Jacobsen explores the hunting legacy of the pioneers of modern elk calling in this fantastic new video: The Linguists.
Elk calling is an incredibly important skill, particularly for archery hunters out in the woods during the rut. It's a mix of art and science, which makes it difficult for most hunters to master. Corey Jacobsen is widely recognized as one of the best elk callers around these days. As good as he is, though, he didn't get where he is on his own. In his incredible new video The Linguists, he explores the legacy of elk calling pioneers Larry D. Jones, Wayne Carlton, Rockie Jacobsen, and Will Primos, who helped pave the way to where we are today with elk calling.
The Linguists is not a short video, but trust me when I say it's incredibly well done and is worth every minute of your time to watch. It's got everything you could want in a film: a compelling story, awesome elk hunting footage, beautiful scenery, and a great ending.
Was that incredible or what? Nice work, Corey!
I don't know about you, but The Linguists is certainly one of the best hunting videos I've ever seen. I was already excited for elk season this year, but now I'm really itching to get back out into the woods!
