Magician David Blaine should stick with illusions and magic and leave firearms alone. This is especially true with his near-fatal attempt to catch a bullet in his mouth.
David Blaine held a gum shield in his mouth with a metal cup in his mouth meant to catch a bullet. He then, using a string, remotely fired a rifle. The bullet found its mark in David's mouth, but the metal cup that was meant to catch the bullet failed. It slipped out of the way and the bullet shattered the gum shield. David got a lacerated throat from this ill-conceived bullet catching trick.
Well, David Blaine still plans on doing this bullet-catching trick on his upcoming tour. All we have to say is, that is one very bad idea. The next time might be fatal.
