Usually, when someone sees a shark, people run away from the water.
On February 9 in Jensen Beach, Fla., some folks saw a shark... and ran toward the water.
The men in the video saw the creature and realized that it was tangled in fishing line.
After pulling it onto the sand, they untangled it and removed the hook from its mouth.
The critter they saved has been identified as a blacktip shark. That species stays in shallow water to nurse its pups. However, the nursing season is in the spring and summer.
The rescuers are fortunate that this didn't turn into another "shark bites man" story. Officials say the likely culprit in many bites is the blacktip.
Fishing for blacktips is legal in Florida.
