MTN DEW Offers Outdoorsmen Chance to Win Variety of Adventures With 'Recharge Retreat'

All lovers of the outdoors will want to throw their hat in the ring of MTN DEW's latest sweepstakes.

MTN DEW has long been kin to Mother Nature and all those who enjoy everything she has to offer. And, while this isn't the soda brand's first time launching a campaign dedicated to sportsmen and women, perhaps none is as exciting as their latest installment, "Recharge Retreat."

The new program gives fans the chance to win one of five week-long backcountry retreats, as well as DEW outdoor gear. Similar to the "Out Here. It's DEW" program, Recharge Retreat raises the stakes of truly remote, backcountry experiences that feature breathtaking cabins throughout the Midwest and the Northeast.

Fortunately for outdoorsmen, they couldn't have picked a better time of year, as hunting season is now in full swing. MTN DEW hopes to offer an escape for those who are feeling the weight of COVID-19 and all of the quarantine precautions that come with it.

The MTN DEW Recharge Retreat dates and locations include:

  • Michigan, Hiawatha National Forest: Nov. 15-21, 2020
  • New York, The Adirondacks: Nov. 29-Dec. 5, 2020
  • Pennsylvania, Oil Creek State Park: Nov. 29-Dec. 5, 2020
  • Indiana, Hoosier National Park: Nov. 18-24, 2020
  • Ohio, Mohican-Memorial State Forest: Dec. 7-13, 2020

Each of the retreats cover some of the most popular hunting grounds in their respective state, and also features a local guide who will show will help showcase the region to the lucky winner.

"We know DEW Nation has collectively struggled to enjoy the outdoor experiences they love during this challenging year—whether that's hunting, fishing, or just getting out on the lake with friends and family," said Umi Patel, CMO PepsiCo North Division. "Recharge Retreat is all about showing our fans that DEW is right here with them to help enhance and recharge their love for the great outdoors."

If the variety of retreats wasn't cool enough, Mountain Dew is also recharging local communities by donating $10,000 to the Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp, all of which will fund upcoming hunting trips. They'll also reward 350 additional fans with exclusive DEW-branded gear.

From now until Oct. 27, anyone 18 years of age or older can enter by visiting DewRechargeRetreat.com and uploading a current hunting or fishing license that's valid in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana or Ohio.
