MTN OPS partners with Total Archery Challenge and provides a weekend.
Recently I had the opportunity to head to Snowbird, Utah to shoot the Total Archery Challenge to help celebrate MTN OPS' four-year anniversary of business. This 3D archery experience is often located at a ski resort, offering a 3D shoot with a variety of exciting elements.
The new MTN OPS headquarters is only a short drive away from the archery event in the greater Salt Lake City area. They also sponsor a 5K event with Cam Hanes headlining the run. The weekend was full of exciting events and prizes to win. A new truck was up for grabs, as raffle tickets were available for various prizes from different vendors and organizations.
We scheduled an afternoon nock time for the MTN OPS course where there were novelty shots and natural obstacles that made it perfect for different skill levels. I have to say, it was one of the most exciting 3D courses I've shot.
Below is a snapshot of the shoot. From the pile of arrows, it's easy to gauge how challenging it was. Thankfully, I only added a few arrows to the pile. The venue for the event featured fantastic views and helped me prepare for the upcoming season with a very realistic simulation of shots.
