Two charged in disgusting North Dakota poaching incident.
In a repellent poaching incident caught on video a couple years ago, several people were shown stabbing, suffocating, and bashing a buck's head into the ground on the banks of the Cannonball River during the November deer season.

In the aftermath, North Dakota Game and Fish announced that they charged two people in the case with a Class A misdemeanor. Both were New York residents and have been identified as Wiliam Larkin and William Bighorse. Both were charged with unlawful possession of big game.
They faced a fine of $3,000, a year in jail, or both.
It turns out releasing the video of the crime to the public had been very helpful in the investigation.
"We still don't know everybody in the video, but we were able to identify two actively involved in the killing of that deer," Chief Game Warden Bob Timian told the Bismark Tribune at the time. "This is all based on concerned citizens in the public sending us information."
He also told the Tribune the men could lose all hunting and fishing privileges across the state as part of the Wildlife Violator Compact.
There were multiple people shown in the video and wildlife officials continued working to identify the others.
