When there's bacon in the house, it doesn't matter where it's hidden - this Bulldog will find it.
There's something about bacon that dogs just can't resist. (Well, there's also something about it that many humans can't resist, but that's another story.) The dog in this video is no exception. Clearly he thinks bacon is just about the best thing ever, and he's determined to find it no matter where it's stored.
Watch this dog as he gets into the fridge and figures out just which door holds the bacon. What's funny about this is that the bacon isn't yet cooked, yet the dog still recognizes the smell. I think he's trying to tell his owners just what he wants for dinner.

Some dogs get into the habit of helping themselves to their favorite foods around the house, but this can become an issue when the dog starts overeating and gaining weight. Your dog may figure out where the "good stuff" is stored in the fridge or in a cabinet, and you might come into the kitchen one day to discover that he's helped himself.
If you ever find that your dog has ingested something that he shouldn't have, it's a good idea to give your vet a call. Some substances, like chocolate, are toxic to dogs if certain amounts are consumed. Garbage can also be toxic and dangerous for your dog to consume, especially if you don't know what had been thrown out.
If you have questions about what your dog ate, it's best to play it safe and get him checked out at the vet. Then, it's time to add some safety locks or other security measures to keep your dog from getting into foods that he shouldn't eat again in the future.
