Graduating High School Senior Reese Nesbitt and her family went to Point Breeze, NY to get some pictures.
When High School senior Reese Nesbitt and her mom, Renny White-Nesbitt went down to Point Breeze on Lake Ontario, they couldn't have been ready for a photobombing doe that didn't need an invitation to get in on the fun.
While walking and photographing on the shoreline near the mouth of the famed Oak Orchard River, an inquisitive doe happened by to see what all the fuss was about. Before you knew it, Reese was getting up close and personal to a whitetail deer that obviously didn't mind having its picture taken.
It was plain to see how friendly the deer was, and why not? The lake was beautiful and the sun was shining.
A ton of flotsam can be seen littering the shore of Lake Ontario after record rainfall in western NY since March 2017. By the way, the jetty you can see in the background is part of the structure that guards the mouth of the famous Oak Orchard River: one of the top ten most sought after fishing destinations in the northeast.
Reese and beau Elijah can be seen along with professional photographer Erin Townsend as the little doe begins to move on to greener pastures. Renny told me via e-mail: "We were very surprised to see how un afraid she was. Coming along the shore line & then right up to Reese when sitting in the grass, she even licked her!"
Big thanks to my friend Renny, her daughter Reese, and of course one friendly and inquisitive whitetail deer for making their day a little brighter and giving them some of the best memories ever!
Next, we'll be seeing a deer getting in on some baby pictures? Yeah, you can see that right here.
