This one was ugly for both parties.
We see a lot of car-deer collision photos and videos here at Wide Open Spaces. We've shared several extreme instances of these with you already this year.
However, this vehicle-deer accident is a little different. That's because this one involved a snowmobile!
Thomas McCleary shared these photos of the aftermath of a high-speed snowmobile collision with a deer on the Ontario Sled Army Facebook page.
As hard as it may be to believe, the rider reportedly didn't suffer any injuries in the wreck.
It appears the buck really got the worst of this one, although his snowmobile doesn't look so hot. McCleary reported in a later post that they were able to salvage the meat from the buck's front shoulders, so at least the deer didn't completely go to waste.
As deer seasons give way to winter and snowmobiling, keep this in mind and be careful when you're out riding trails!
