Polaris has just unveiled the new Sportsman 850 Ultimate Trail Edition, the total trail rider's ATV.
Polaris has expanded its number one-selling automatic 4x4 ATV line with the Sportsman 850 Ultimate Trail Edition. Just like the name says, it's meant to match perfectly with the desires of the avid trail rider, with added comfort, style, and performance features to boot.
Starting at an MSRP of $11,499, the Sportsman 850 Ultimate Trail Edition is engineered with rider-inspired upgrades, a common thread in the advancement and development of new Polaris machines.
They, perhaps more than any other off-road brand, devote serious time and effort to gathering and responding to customer and rider feedback with the goal of making the best ATV possible.
Built off the already-powerful Sportsman 850 design, the Ultimate Trail Edition adds important features like powerful LED lights, larger, 27-inch Duro tires, better ground clearance (12 inches) and arched A-arms, an Ultimate Series front bumper and steel skid plates, a Polaris Pro HD winch (which can tug 3,50o pounds with its synthetic rope), and an Ultimate Series Front Bumper.
It comes standard with Electronic Power Steering (EPS), One Touch On-Demand All-Wheel Drive/2WD, Active Descent Control, and a 78 horsepower 4-Stroke SOHC Twin Cylinder engine. The 850 Ultimate Trail Edition can haul just about anything, with a front rack (120 pounds) and a rear rack (240 pounds) cargo system with rack extenders, plus a 1,500-pound towing capacity on the hitch. There are LED Pod lights and bumper lights, in addition to Dual LED Brake lights and taillights.
And with all the amazing add-ons and the ability to build your own ride, the Polaris Sportsman 850 now has a serious claim for best off-roading four wheeler on the market. As you'd expect, the Ultimate Trail Package on this model is a limited edition, and won't be available in perpetuity.
