Iconic German luxury automaker Porsche is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a tribute video for the ages.
Watch clips of history starting with the Porsche 70's racing lineage to its 70-year anniversary model, the 911 Speedster Concept, paying tribute to the original 356 with the "No. 1" decal.
History in the Making
As part of its 70th-anniversary festivities, it also celebrated "Sportscar Together Day" bringing together Porsche owners to celebrate the brand's history, complete with large-scale cars, drive experience events and food at venues in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Cincinnati.
Over the past two months, the car company has also been on a tear, previewing the all-new electric Taycan in a Roadster test drive. In Feb., it also announced $74 billion through 2022 to electrify its entire range, as well as invest in charging infrastructure, and mobility products, doubling its original investment proposal.
