RIO is adding light and high-velocity versions to two of its best-selling lines.
Usually when people think RIO Ammunition, they think of two of its flagship shotshell lines: the Wing & Target and Vintage 1896 lines.
RIO engineered the Wing & Target line for hunters and recreational shooters alike who enjoy staying out at the range and blasting through some clays. This shell uses a single-based powder, making it more soft-shooting and clean-burning.
Consistency and high performance made line a success, and made RIO a household name among American gunners. And now, the shotgun shell manufacturer is taking it one step further, offering new light and high-velocity options.
Below is the modified Wing & Target lineup:
- Wing & Target: 12 gauge, 2 3/4," 1 ounce, 3 DR, 1,250 fps, 7.5 shot
