This hauntingly beautiful footage shows how truly angry the old man of the sea can be.
The sea can be an unforgiving place, punishing and pummeling all who choose to travel through its swells. And although it can be angry when at its worst, there's something intrinsically beautiful about sheer ferocity.
The following footage was shot from a helicopter and features the French frigate Latouche-Treville D646 taking on some truly massive swells. This is definitely not water for those who get seasick!
