With a new promo video the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation declares that they will continue to achieve bold conservation successes in North America.
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has released a promotional video touting their conservation achievements. In fact, that's what the video is called: Achieve.
Since 1984 RMEF has worked relentlessly to bolster their ranks of members and volunteers who are dedicated to preserving wildlife habitat. Their influence has grown politically as well, and they have become a true leader in the field of wildlife conservation.
Since 1984, the RMEF has grown to the largest, most effective, big game conservation organization in the world.
For as long as there are elk, and people that care,
We will continue to Achieve.Over 10,000 Conservation Projects Completed.
Over 7,000,000 Acres of Wildlife Habitat Conserved or Enhanced.
Opened or improved access to more than 1,000,000 acres for the public to hunt, hike, fish and enjoy.

This is quite an accomplishment, especially considering that the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is a largely hunter funded/hunter membership organization. Hunting is conservation. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Hunting is the cornerstone of wildlife conservation.
Without hunters who answered the call back in the day we very well may have lost any number of game species forever. We were right on the cusp of that tragic fact becoming a reality when the Boone and Crockett Club was formed in 1887 by Theodore Roosevelt, George Bird Grinnell and others.
It is because of the efforts of these men and their formation of the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, which RMEF has so boldly embraced and promoted in modern times, that we enjoy the abundance of game animals and secure wild places we have today. Of course there is still much work to do, and threats continue - like the current battle to keep federal public lands open to the public.
This is a video that you might want to bookmark and share with your friends, just to remind them of the history and outstanding work that RMEF has done for wildlife in America.
