This cheetah apparently wants to ride shotgun, and this man probably wishes he had a shotgun.
A peaceful drive through Africa's plains to observe the beautiful animals is something people dream of doing. Being able to drive through the country's many famous game reserves and witnessing lions, hyenas, hippos, elephants, rhinos, crocodiles and more is a wildlife lover's dream come true. However, having one of the animals jump in your vehicle makes it a little less appealing.
That is what happened to this poor fellow. We're not sure how, but this guy has a visitor inside of his jeep, and it just so happens to be one of the fiercest predators on the planet, the cheetah. The driver looks slightly terrified as he films this cheetah making itself comfortable chewing on the head rest of one of the seats.
It is not every day one gets to experience a big cat up close and personal like this. Not that many people WANT to get this close!
Believe it or not, this is not the first time we have heard of animals in Africa getting inside tourist vehicles somehow. One must be careful with open windows and doors when you are exploring the wilds of the African bush it seems. Look, we love taking the top and doors off a Jeep as much as the next guy, but sometimes it is just a bad idea. Like when you are exploring a part of the world that is home to multiple large, predatory cats!
Kudos to this man for handling this like a champ. Not many people could've kept their cool with a cheetah sitting in their back seat and breathing down their neck. This was probably the best way to handle this scenario. Let it do its thing and hope it loses interest quickly and leaves the vehicle.
