A very ill senior dog was found hiding in a trash pile on the side of the road in India.
Advanced mange coupled with old age didn't make for a good prognosis, but Animal Aid Unlimited refused to give up on a precious life.
They wrapped the senior dog in a blanket and whisked him away to the Animal Aid shelter. There, he began receiving emergency veterinary treatment for the skin disease that was slowly sapping the life out of him.
After a lengthy course of medicated shampoos and loads of TLC, the old dog that had given up hope and curled up in a trash pile to die made a complete turnaround.
