Not again, We've had with these snakes on a plane!
It happened again. A snake made an unexpected appearance on an airplane. In the second such incident since November, a snake was discovered squirming around the cabin after takeoff.
KTVA Alaska reports the bizarre incident happened on a Ravn Alaska flight from Aniak to Anchorage on Sunday after a young boy in the last row of seats spotted the approximately four-foot long reptile slithering behind where he was sitting.
The airliner later confirmed a passenger had somehow managed to bring the snake on board despite policies against doing so.
Flight attendants quickly scooped up the snake and placed it in a bag for the remainder of the flight (which did happen to land on time, by the way).
"For the purpose of preserving cabin safety for the greater traveling public, Ravn Alaska prohibits all rodents, ferrets, reptiles, snakes, insects or any type of venomous of poisonous creature from being used as an emotional support animal," airliner spokesperson William Walsh told reporters.
If you're wondering about the support animals line, that's because people have, in the past, brought some very strange animals on airplanes and claimed them as such.
Again, we know it's cliché, but where's Samuel L. Jackson when you need him?
