Squirrels can be a real nuisance when it comes to raiding bird feeders. Not only do they take a seed or two, they get plain greedy, stuffing their cheeks full to sheer capacity. So here's a solution...and it's a funny one at that.
Robert and Nancy Krampf were having an issue with a particular rock squirrel in their garden. And let's just say, this brazen thief wasn't leaving much in the way of food for the hungry birds. So, Nancy came up with a simple solution: Vaseline.
As you'll see, it worked like a charm:
You sure have to love Nancy's narration. It was spot on.
If you want to give this a try, ensure you are only using non-toxic Vaseline (the same as lip balm) and use sparingly. Oh, and have some Kleenex on hand. You might just be crying tears of laughter.
