Ian from Forgotten Weapons has quite an interesting semi-automatic rifle from way back in history.
The Farquhar-Hill was a rifle that was well ahead of its time. Check out what the Farquhar-Hill semi-automatic rifle is all about.
When many think about the military rifles of World War One most think bolt action rifles. Though they were the majority in combat there was a semi-automatic rifle that was ahead of it's time.
The Farquhar-Hill semi-automatic rifle fired from a drum magazine with a very unique gas system. That system was very ahead of it's time. The standard cartridge was the British .303 cartridge. That was a lot of firepower for the World War One era though not many were made to make it into actual combat.
Special thanks go out to Ian from Forgotten Weapons for taking an extremely close look at the incredible Farquhar-Hill semi-automatic rifle.
