If you didn't know what a rattlesnake bite does to the body, now you do.
In a recent Facebook post, Texas country artist Kevin Fowler posted a very nasty rattlesnake bite that happened to one of his friends. Rattlesnakes are all over Texas, and different cousins of this viper are all over the U.S.

The above picture is a rattlesnake that Fowler found in his shed. By seeing this guy up so close, Fowler took to Facebook and posted:
Ran into this little fellow in my shed this week. Third one this month. All of you people who cry about folks killing rattlesnakes have probably never seen what it looks like when you get bit by one. The other two pics are of my buddy Tommy's hand after getting bit last year. He's still going through surgeries and rehab. All of you rattlesnake sympathizers will change your tune when your kid gets bit playing in your backyard.
Now it gets nasty. Again, be careful. These pictures of a rattlesnake bite are the real deal.

I'm glad the rattlesnake population around me is mostly isolated and hard to find.
