A British man repurposed a classic British car, building it from scratch to set a Guinness world record for shortest street legal car.
Perry Watkins is the proud builder and ex-owner of the world's shortest car, the Flatmobile, with its highest point reaching 19 inches.
In this clip, watch Watkins and Pulling Power TV presenter Michele Newman take it for a spin on a winding road.
Modeled using the 1963 Hillman Imp's front end, it uses an 875cc engine, combined with a 100,000-RPM gas turbine engine to spin its blades 1000 miles per hour.
Its rear also sports a jet engine shooting a five-foot-long flame for good measure.
If any car has earned the right to have "Holy Crap!" emblazoned on its back paneling, it's this one. Oddly, Watkins did not keep it for long, opting to sell it at a UK-based auction for $15,675.
