Here is every winner for the 2019 ICAST Best in Category Awards, given to the innovative new gear that's set to hit the fishing market.
Every year, the big objective of the ICAST Show (International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades) is to recognize and award specific new products with a Best in Category distinction.
Brands roll out their latest and greatest in the New Product Showcase, enter them in their respective categories. The event, held in Orlando, Florida, brings everything together under one roof.
Winners were selected by the selection of international credentialed buyers and media via vote for the best of the new product entries.
Overall, 1,004 new products were entered by 303 companies in 29 categories. Four new categories were added this year: Ice Fishing; Technical Apparel (both Warm Weather and Cold Weather); Coolers and Bait/Storage; and Cutlery, Hand Pliers or Tools.
