I couldn't even make it through the trailer without needing Kleenex and I loved this book so I already know the story. If I had to categorize this movie or describe how you'll feel when watching it then just think about how you felt during 'Marley & Me'. This is a much better story though so it's worth going to on a date night.
What's also wonderful about this story? They used Kevin Costner to narrate Enzo, the dog. Listening to both Costner and then watching the main character, Denny, played by Milo Ventimiglia is a lot of fun and of course, reminds me of 'This Is Us' which I'm also a fan of. Costner carries the perfect tone throughout the trailer.
Without giving away much, this is about a dog named Enzo who recalls the life lessons he has learned from his race car driving owner, Denny.

The movie comes out in early August. The wonderful best-selling novel is written by Garth Stein and you can buy it on Amazon. I read it years ago and I love that they made a movie about the story. It really is a story about a man and his true best friend. If you love movies about the journey of life then you'll enjoy the heartfelt tale of Denny Swift and his dog Enzo. You'll like to even more when the voice of Enzo is Kevin Costner!
