SHOT Show 2018 showcased more than just guns, like these three innovative products.
We had the opportunity to see a lot of different new products while at SHOT Show this year, so it's hard to narrow down our favorites.
However, while everyone always leaves the show thinking about guns, there's always that nifty gadget or cool concept that's hard to shake. So, with that said, here are our three favorite innovative products of SHOT Show 2018.
Federal Premium Edge TLR
Federal just released this elite long-distance ammunition, and drew some serious attention at SHOT. The Edge TLR is an extremely accurate round, which we were lucky enough to see at Industry Day at the Range.
Federal hit it out of the park with this one, producing ammunition that performs from both long and short range distances, delivering a power no matter the distance.
It does optimal damage at both long and short distances. Its Slipstream polymer tip helps expansion at long range, and the copper shank and bonded lead core help deliver a punch at short range.
Magpul Suppressor Cover
Magpul is known for creating some of the highest-quality firearm accessories on the market. More specifically, their accessories that are always very easy to use and make firearms incredibly more efficient. This particular product is so simple, yet so useful, fitting right in with Magpul's tradition.
This 5-1/2-inch suppressor cover is made out of a heat-resistant polymer sleeve, and it mounts directly to the suppressor body using metal clamps. When mounted, it works as a thermal insulator, reducing mirage distortion and the chances of burning your hand or leg on a hot suppressor.
Nite Ize Financial Tool Multi Tool Wallet
This is one of the coolest, most random products we saw showcased at SHOT Show 2018. A 7-in-1 multi-tool, it features a "Cash Wrap" strap, a scraper, a bottle opener, three wrenches (1/4", 5/16", and 3/8"), a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips-head screwdriver/tape cutter, and both metric and imperial rulers.
The cash strap allows you to put all your necessities (driver's license, credit card, cash, etc.) in one place that easily fits in your pocket. Or, you can simply put it in your wallet, as it fits just like a credit card. When it comes to innovation, efficiency is best when paired with simplicity. The Multi Tool Wallet exhibits both.
