Did not see this one coming.
Los Angles residents seem to have more and more interactions with wildlife. Videos and photos frequently surface of interactions with mountain lions and coyotes. This one is a little different. Watch the video from KDTV 6 to see a bear and dog in action.
That is one brave dog, or maybe dumb. I'm not sure yet. The bear in the video entered cul-de-sac and had the above interaction with the dog after swimming in someone's pool. The homeowner was proud of how the dog reacted in protection of its home.
What is of concern is that there are many children in this area who would have normally been playing outside at the time of the encounter. The bear also was seen around three other houses, entering the garage and emptying the contents of its fridge and garbage.
