A young fisherman had hooked up with a really nice redfish when a marauding alligator stepped in and took it away from him.
Gators like to eat, and eat a lot. Too bad this one had to pick the catch of a lifetime for one young angler!
It seems like maybe this kid will remember this outing even more vividly, thanks to one hungry thief disguised as an alligator.
That can't be the first time that this gator has gotten away with a fish that wasn't his. Maybe it wasn't the first alligator that the young fisherman has seen, but it will be the one he remembers the most!
If you were wondering why folks in that area fish off of the dock: maybe standing next to the shore on that lake might not be too safe. Anyway, there's a gator getting fat out there for someone with a legal tag next season.
