In today's fast-paced modern world, we're always looking for ways to get back to nature and get away from it all. Thanks to the Internet, we see the many creative solutions people have developed for doing just that. One of the cooler ones we've seen recently is this tiny treehouse in British Columbia. This house may be about 12 feet above the ground in a stand of cedar trees, but it is amazingly modern and cozy. It's only about 160 square feet of living space, but the selling point is how it seamlessly blends with the trees and nature.
The owner briefly tours this tiny living space in today's video. He goes over everything from the footbridge construction and the custom deck railing to the unique toilet and shower system. It's a relatively efficient space and makes for one fantastic cabin.
It seems he has this set up as an Air B-n-B or similar rental, but it's still highly unique and looks like the perfect weekend getaway. According to the video's description, that amazing outdoor shower is functional year-round, so you could even stay here in the winter. We imagine it's a tad cold getting out of the shower, but there are probably some gorgeous views waking up on a frosty morning and looking out those big windows. We're digging the skylights and how they open the loft area too.
The only downside is there's not a ton of living space in the interior. However, most people who stay here will probably spend more time on that deck than anywhere else in the tiny treehouse. You cannot often sit and enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning up in the branches of a tree!
