Who needs a camper when you have a school bus from 1993?
Last August, we covered a story of a guy, Sam Soholt, who turned a 65-passenger school bus into a traveling hunt camp. Well, he's been hitting the road since then and raising awareness about the importance of public hunting land. When we initially covered the story, we only shared a few interior snapshots of the rig, but now Sam has given a full tour of his public land tour bus.
Get ready to see one of the coolest school bus conversions of all time.
The bus has a total of 400 square feet (when including the custom-made awning), giving it enough room to furnish 4 bunk beds and a bedroom. With creative storage techniques, Sam's able to store plenty of gear and hit the public land tour with some comfort.
Sam has a simple motto for the "Keep It Public" awareness campaign. Since the dawn of this project, he's reached thousands of folks, and if we had to guess, he's just getting started.
