Turkey hunting often requires you to be mobile and carry a lot of gear. These two videos show how the Quietkat can help you do just that.
One of the best parts of my job is having companies reach out to field test their gear. When we get our hands on something good, we can't wait to share it with our readers.
When I reached out to Quietkat, I wasn't sure how it would go. I wasn't even sure I really wanted to try one out, but the idea that I could get to places my four-wheeler couldn't, I had to get my hands on one to see for myself. I also knew it came with a trailer that made it possible to haul things like deer feed, trail cameras, gear and even a deer. Ultimately, I wanted to get my hands on one and see if there was more than what meets the eye.
Below are two videos from Maryland spring turkey hunts where I used the Quietkat. Its ability to move quickly and haul the gear made both turkey hunting alone and self-filming very easy. Take a look at how much more you can do with a Quietkat.
The video above shows how the combination trailer and bike work to carry all the gear I bring with me while solo-hunting. I added a DIY bow holder I can share later, too. The trailer made this hunt possible because, as a solo-filming hunter, you have more gear than you can imagine. Without the Quietkat and the trailer, there just isn't much you can do with all that stuff.
The video here shows how being mobile on the Quietkat can help. I also used it to go shed hunting, and overall, it just helped me cover a ton of ground in a shorter amount of time. It's super quiet as well, hence the name Quietkat.
Ultimately, I would without a doubt recommend any serious hunter who's been on the fence about getting a Quietkat to go ahead and get one. They offer financing, and when you compare the price to say that of your bow, it really isn't that far out of reach.
I look forward to putting the Quietkat through more tests to see what all it can do. Deer season isn't too far away either, and as a property manager, I spend hours checking trail cameras and freshening up my attractant to complete my trail camera surveys. I look forward to using the Quietkat to assist with getting this done more efficiently.
