YouTuber user allspeciesguru decided to give it a try.
He put on his best Scuba Steve outfit, pressed record on his GoPro, and dove down into the Upper Niagara River in New York with his rod and reel to catch some bass.

Surprisingly, he didn't scare the fish away. Instead, they gathered around him as if wondering, "Dude, what are you doing down here?"
Aside from having to wear scuba gear and diving and all of that, underwater fishing looks like a pretty easy way to catch a bass. Would you try it?
