It's not very often you see a buck like this.
One of the coolest things about a whitetail deer is that each buck has a unique rack. You never know what you might see.
For the most part, though, deer share a lot of similarities between their racks. This buck is a little different. This might be the craziest rack I've ever come across and it seems to be catching the attention of many others.
It seems like we continue to see more and more crazy things like this in the whitetail world. Are bucks getting weirder? It seems like it, but I think it's just a product of social media where we can share things with people all over. This particular buck is sporting head gear that's all in one piece. Both main beams come to meet at one point instead of two separate antlers.
Check out this once-in-a-lifetime buck Troy Bishop harvested in Runnels County, Texas.
So...what does the shed look like on this buck? I assume it would be one connected piece, and the hole left on top of the buck's head would have to be enormous.
While can wonder why it grew this way, this is undoubtedly a special deer. Chances are he'll never harvest another buck like this one. Congrats!
