"Hunting is so much more than just the harvest."
One great thing about hunting is not knowing what sort of adventure your footsteps will lead you on. The wilderness offers a smorgasbord of sights and sounds, and one thing is certain, nature rarely disappoints.
The Canada In The Rough crew took part in a spring bear hunt this year with Boundary Waters Guide Service, located in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. While out searching for a boar, they crossed paths with a charismatic wolf pup that was destined to get a little screen time.

There's something about the haunting sound of a wolf vocalization that can literally stop you in your tracks. You have to hand it to this little one: it has a powerful set of pipes already!
