Video: Black Bear Looks for a Room at Colorado's Stanley Hotel

Will that be a queen or king, Mr. Bear?

The night supervisor at the Stanley Hotel, located in Estes Park, Colorado, had a shocking surprise during the early hours of Aug. 23. That's when a curious black bear came wandering through the lobby.

It all happened around 4 a.m., and lucky for us, the quick-thinking employee managed to capture the most unusual of guests with his cell phone.

The black bear apparently wandered into the lobby, checked out a coffee table and couch and wandered downstairs and out a side door.

We're guessing the place wasn't to his liking.

The Stanley Hotel has a fabled past. Stephen King was inspired to write The Shining after staying here. There's also talk that the hollowed halls are haunted.

But in its 109 years of existence, this is the first time a bear decided to pay a visit. He's now talk of the town.
