There's nothing better than a bed of soft snow to catch some Z's.
The life of a whitetail deer can be a tiring one. This is especially true when the rut is in full swing.
The following cell phone clip, filmed by Dustin Shelley, shows exactly how soundly a button buck can drift off into slumber.
"I went out after my Friday morning hunt to pull my cameras and came across this little guy sleeping hard," his post reads. "I was concerned he may have been hurt because I tried coughing to wake him up at first but he was just crashed right out. Glad he was just sleeping because it was the day after rifle opener and ya never know."
Fortunately for this little fella, Shelley wasn't interested in any meat for the freezer.
So, if humans count sheep, what do deer count?
