We're sure this is a question you've had burning in your mind.
We've all seen the endless commercials for Flex Seal and Flex Tape on television. These supposed wonder products are supposed to be capable of anything, including fixing a boat that's been sawed in half.
YouTube in particular has jumped on the bandwagon, as people are putting these products to all sorts of weird tests. So it was probably only a matter of time before someone tried shooting it. But there's no way this stuff can actually stop a bullet, right?
Ok, this test was pretty surprising. If you've ever picked up a roll of this stuff in the store, you'll know Flex Tape is pretty lightweight. We weren't surprised by the results he got with the .22, but the Desert Eagle was a real eye-opener.
Apparently, there's something to the adhesive they use in this tape because he does state the bullets are sticky afterwards. We still don't think we'd trust this stuff as a form of armor, but we do have a new respect for the stuff after watching this!
