Jake finds a Hi-Point in a Georgia river.
Professional YouTube personality Jake, aka DALLMYD, and his friends Tristan and Brandon have built their channels on river exploration and fishing. But what really put these guys on the map has been the firearms they discovered that people ditched in rivers.
It has happened more than once for all three of these guys.
So guess what? Yep, it happened again. This time it was Jake. He's scuba diving a brand-new spot and finds a lot of interesting things, including a ditched handgun!
It seems obvious no one's ever dived in this spot before. It was already an interesting video before he found the gun. That was just the icing on the cake!
It appears this handgun was a Hi-Point, one of the cheapest and probably most hated handguns on the market today. Ugliness aside, though, these handguns do have a cult following on the internet.
We're wondering if this handgun is still functional. It doesn't look like it's been on the river bottom all that long. A while back, Demolition Ranch put one of these pistols to a true torture test and a little dunk in the water wasn't enough to render it nonfunctional. It wouldn't surprise us at all if this gun was still capable of firing!
Here's hoping if it was used in a crime, this is the break some detective needs to solve the case!
