Hickok45 finally gives his thoughts on Glock's crossover pistol.
Glock only just announced the rollout of their new "crossover" pistol, the 19X, back in early January. The company claims it combines the best features of their ever-popular Glock 17 and Glock 19 handguns.
We've been waiting for YouTube gun guru Hickok45 to give his thoughts on this gun and when he finally does, his verdict may surprise you.
This particular model was designed with the U.S. military in mind. Glock didn't win that bid because the military went with Sig Sauer instead. But, they did decide to release this handgun to the public and there's no denying it's generated a lot of buzz.
This video did surprise us, however. We've always known Hickok for being a Glock guy, so it's kind of surprising to hear him say he didn't love this particular model as much as the new Gen 5 pistols that launched in late 2017.
On the other hand, it took a little while for the Gen 4 Glocks to catch on in popularity, too. Perhaps the 19X just needs some time to become more popular with concealed carriers. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on this gun to see if Glock adds anymore tweaks in the near future.
