This stealthy cat was looking to play a game of 'follow the leader.'
When you leave the concrete jungle of city life and wander into any large expanse of woods, you literally are trampling on someone else's turf. And by 'someone' I mean those forest-dwelling creatures with four feet and fur.
Joe McGillivray, while hunting the first morning of general hunting season in western Montana, came face-to-face with one such animal. But instead of it being a often-seen deer or elk, it was in fact a young mountain lion - and a sneaky one at that.
McGillivray posted the following videos to his Facebook page, highlighting the fact that this cat attempted to stalk him a total of three times. (Big or small, the thought of a mountain lion sneaking up on you is pretty unnerving to say the least!)
Warning - Language:
Pretty cool encounter - and it just goes to show that you never really know what you'll run into when wandering in the woods.
Think you'd be as calm and collected as Joe was?
