Video: Prepare to Have Your Heart Warmed by This Deer Rescue

A deer rescue took place in an Ohio park after the deer could not escape the ice.

It took an effort by Ohio park rangers, firefighters and police to safely remove an Ohio deer from its impending demise. The deer rescue required several grown men to extract the deer. As luck would have it, a reporter and cameraman drove by the park and noticed the deer struggling to get up.

Thankfully, the ice seemed thick, which made it a little easier for the ranger to get to the deer. The deer couldn't stand up on the ice because of its hooves.

The group did save the young deer from the ice. However, due to the harsh conditions it already weathered, it's uncertain whether or not the animal survived.
