Talk about a terrifyingly close call with a set of razor-sharp claws!
Bears are one animal we don't advise messing around with. They can be unpredictable at the best of times, and if cornered or threatened, they would rather fight than flee.
Case in point is this eye-opening POV video which comes to us from the Kuril Islands in Russia.
We don't have much in the way of background info to give you, other than the fact that these snowmobilers were attempting to scare this bear away from their fish camp.
As you're about to see, things changed dramatically when the bear decided it finally had enough of being chased.
One thing's for certain, though. That one guy crept up on that bear a little too close for comfort and almost paid the price.
No blame goes to the bear for simply trying to protect itself.
