No one likes getting snagged. It's always a process to get your lure back, and sometimes you end up losing it forever. In this video, you'll learn about the "bow and arrow" method of freeing your expensive tackle and ultimately saving some money.

- With one hand holding the rod, use the other to pull out some extra line from between the reel and the first eye hole
- Pull the rod towards you, adding tension to the line
- Let go of the line and extend the rod towards the snag
If you do this correctly, the snagged lure will come free from the obstacle. This definitely a trick to remember during future fishing trips!
