We're all aware that ice fishing comes with some inherent risks. Any time you're dealing with the complexities of frozen water, conditions can change suddenly without notice.
That was certainly the case for these Russian ice fishermen last week. This unreal footage shows just how quickly a pleasant day of fishing can turn into a mad scramble to get to the safety.
Anyone else wondering when that last guy was going to pick up the pace?
Theories on what went down here? Off-shore freighter pushing powerful waves back to land? Tsunami? Angry ice fishing gods? Your guess is as good as ours.
