An unfortunate encounter with high-speed beef.
Here is your reminder that fall is officially here and night driving is suddenly more dangerous. A deputy with the Crisp County Sheriff's Office in Georgia was responding to a call early Sunday morning when a couple of bucks ran out in front of him.
What happens next was captured on dash camera footage and posted on Facebook, courtesy of the Crisp County Sheriff's Department.
The Crisp County Sheriff's Office identified the deputy simply as deputy Cranford and said he suffered some minor wrist injuries in this accident. Give how hard he smacked that buck, he's definitely lucky.
No word on what happened to the buck, but we're guessing he's very much dead after that. The sheriff is using the incident as a friendly safety reminder to the public.
"Please be mindful that deer are moving and use caution in your travels anytime but especially after dark," the post reads.
