Looking for a new air gun to do some small game hunting with? Watch Keith Warren's review of the Diana AR8 air gun first.
It seems like air guns are becoming more and more popular among hunters these days, especially for hunting small game like rabbits and squirrels. Keith Warren has joined that movement as well: first with the Dragon Claw Air Rifle, and now with the Diana AR8 air gun. Available in .177 and .22 caliber, the Diana AR8 air gun is designed precisely with small game hunting in mind.
Check out Keith's Diana AR8 review for a good rundown on the features on this interesting air gun.
Due to the fact that it has a gas piston, the Diana AR8 is more difficult to cock than a typical air gun. On the other hand, it also performs better in cold weather and you can leave it cocked for hours at a time without any drop in performance.
Since it's designed for small game hunting, the Diana AR8 isn't anywhere near as powerful as the Dragon Claw Air Rifle or the Benjamin Pioneer Airbow. However, it looks like it will really do a number on a small animal though from the looks of things in the video.
If you're in the market for an accurate and reliable air gun to use for small game hunting, then I'd certainly recommend taking a look at the Diana AR8.
