Here's how you use a drone for shark fishing.
When it comes to surf fishing, an angler is at a much bigger disadvantage than those fishermen with a boat. Especially if one wants to get the bait out far and fish for sharks.
Now, we here at Wide Open Spaces have seen all manner of methods used to get the bait hundreds of yards offshore. A kayak or bait cannon seem to be more popular methods.
But this guy ingeniously used a drone and it works!
Boy that just seems so much easier than any other method we've seen. And probably a lot more fun too. Youtube user Adam Fisk notes in the video's description they also caught a couple of tagged nurse sharks and two blacktips.
Not bad at all for not owning a fancy watercraft! Be sure to check up on state and local regulations for the legalities of this sort of thing first though.
