The mysterious drowning of a Kansas mule deer causes a rancher to seek answers.
A friend of Steven Rinella, host of Meat Eater, continues to find dead deer in his ranch stock tanks in Kansas. Being an avid mule deer hunter, he hung trail cameras to discover why his Kansas mule deer are drowning in his stock tanks. What he finds might surprise you.

As you might deduce, it appears the coyotes forced the doe into the water tank by corralling her. This exchange resulted in the doe probably exhausting herself and eventually drowning with no where else to go.
The coyotes, however, did not retrieve the doe.
