I'll bet this guy really wished he had a gun to fend off this aggressive sounder of hogs.
You probably won't need a gun very many times in your life. But when you need one, you really need one. This guy hiding in a tree from a sounder of hogs while they attacked his dog is an example of a time where having a firearm of some sort would've been really nice.
Fortunately, both the man and his dog survived the attack, but it makes for a frightening few seconds as the sounder tries to surround and kill the dog on the ground beneath him.

I'll bet those hogs would've quickly lost interest in attacking the dog if that guy would've had a gun and fired a couple shots at them.
