If you know fly fishing, then you know the Dream Stream.
Fly fishermen tend to be an unimaginative bunch. Ask some of your fly fishing friends what they have named their favorite fishing spots and you'll laugh at the responses. For example, the "Carp Hole" is one of my favorite fishing spots here in Indiana. You can probably guess why.

Nestled between Spinney and 11-Mile Reservoirs in South Park, Colorado, the Dream Stream is a top destination for trout trophy hunters all over the West. However, from my experience, the cutbow fishing is some of the best I've ever fished from such a small stream. The rainbow and brown trout fishing can be world class at times as well.
If you take the wind out of the equation, the Dream Stream is a fly fisherman's perfect setup for casting. Seeing as it passes through a high mountain prairie, there are little obstacles to cast around. Most of the fishing is done without even getting your waders wet. However, getting down in the water and making it personal with the fish only adds to memories.
